Preliminary Program and Registration Information
Early registration is now closed. Please register on-site in Dallas.
The deadline for pre-registration is March 6, 2009. After this date, you may still register for the meeting on-site.
Note regarding Event Sessions listed in the participant section of the registration form: These sessions refer to the Spouse/Guest Program activities. Choose only if you are registering your spouse or guest to participate in those program activities.

Advance Your Standards
Your participation keeps API standards going strong, and we would like you to share your standards expertise with the next generation. API invites you to sponsor first-time attendees from your company complimentary at all API 2009 standards meetings.
Complimentary registration is limited to first-time attendees, who must be sponsored and accompanied by a prior API standards meeting participant from the same company. Pre-registration is required. Registration for sponsored attendees cannot be accepted on-site. All hotel and travel expenses are the responsibility of the participant/attendee.
Sponsorship/Exhibitor Application and Agreements
Sponsoring or exhibiting at the COPM Standards Meeting is a targeted, cost-effective avenue for connecting with customers that you might not reach otherwise. The deadline for returning Sponsorship/Exhibitor Applications and Agreements is February 27, 2009. Sponsorship items requiring artwork should be returned by February 6, 2009.

Hotel Information
Reservations may be made directly with the Intercontinental Dallas by calling 972-386-6000. Requests for reservations will be taken until 5:00 pm, local time at the hotel on February 13, 2009 or until the room block is sold out, whichever comes first. Please mention the API Spring COPM Standards Meeting to receive the group rate of $184 single or double occupancy, plus applicable taxes. The group rate applies three days prior to and after the dates of the meeting based on availability. The InterContinental Dallas is located at 15201 Dallas Parkway, Addison, Texas 75001.

Spouse/Guest Program
Breakfasts will be provided Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday mornings. In addition to breakfasts, other activities are being planned as follows:
Monday - Scrapbooking: Participants will create new pages in their scrapbooks using pictures from Long Beach. Those who were not in Long Beach, will have all the tools to create greeting cards. New participants will be given a scrapbook to begin, and/or will be given materials and tools to make greeting cards. Our scrapbook activity has become an on-going activity for spouses and guests at all the standards meetings. This activity will last most of the morning.
Tuesday – Central Market Cooking School: More information to follow shortly.
Wednesday - Field Trip to South Lake: More information to follow shortly.
