Manager, Accounting Operations - Financial Operations

 
 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting and 8-10 years experience in a financial operations department, or relevant payroll accounting experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications. Great Plains Dynamics experience preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills essential.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Able to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Essential Functions: 

  • Assists in the supervision of the general accounting records and operation of accounting systems, including gathering and reporting of financial information.
  • Supervises the monthly closing activities and reconciliations of general ledger accounts. Projects accounting data to show effects of proposed plans on overall financial condition.
  • Coordinates year-end closing activities and assists with the drafting of external financial statements and preparation for the annual audit.
