Natural Gas Star Early Progam Member

Murphy’s exploration and production teams implemented the EPA’s Natural Gas Star Program before the program was instituted, largely eliminating emissions targeted by the program. In November of 2000, Murphy became a formal partner in this EPA-sponsored program for oil and natural gas companies.

In taking action, Murphy will continue to foster the best management practices of the program and to work toward the development of new, cost-effective options for further reducing emissions.
