API looks forward to working with FERC on improving the pipeline permitting process
WASHINGTON, April 19, 2018 – API committed to working with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) as the agency seeks input from stakeholders on how to improve the pipeline permitting process.
“Pipelines are critical to ensuring that American consumers, workers, and the environment can continue realizing the benefits of our nation’s abundant supply of clean, affordable natural gas,” said API Midstream Group Director Robin Rorick. “FERC’s robust review process has provided the commission with an effective tool to balance the concerns of the public and the industry and has enabled the U.S. to construct a safe, reliable and effective natural gas transportation system. API looks forward working with FERC to improve the pipeline permitting process to ensure that our nation can continue benefitting from natural gas for generations to come.”
