Bethany Williams is Senior Director of Communications and Public Affairs for the American Petroleum Institute. In this role, she leads external and policy communications, media relations and issue campaigns in support of API’s integrated advocacy priorities.
With nearly 15 years of association, political and agency experience, Bethany brings her background as a strategic communications leader to break through the clutter in Washington and tell the oil and natural gas industry’s story to external audiences. Previously, Bethany served in a variety of communications roles, including for the National Retail Federation, the U.S. House of Representatives, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, a presidential campaign and a public affairs firm.
