Kevin Slagle is Senior Vice President of Communications, leading all messaging for API’s integrated advocacy efforts, including earned and paid media, digital communications, research and thought leadership. This includes leading API’s multi-year Lights on Energy campaign to educate voters and policymakers on the critical role of U.S. oil and natural gas in meeting global demand for affordable, reliable and cleaner energy. Slagle brings more than two decades of experience in the oil and natural gas industry. He previously served as vice president of strategy and communications for the Western States Petroleum Association (WSPA) and held leadership roles at a number of global public relations firms.
