Kristin Westmoreland
Kristin Westmoreland is Vice President and Chief of Staff. In this role, she leads the Membership and Events departments and oversees the Executive Office. In addition, she works across API to ensure continued alignment on strategic priorities and provides operational leadership on cross-organizational projects.
Prior to joining API, Westmoreland served as Executive Director within the Corporate Responsibility (CR) function at JPMorgan Chase and was responsible for increasing awareness of the firm’s CR strategy and commitment to drive inclusive economic growth in communities around the world.
She spent over a decade at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and held a number of different roles within the Executive Office, Political Affairs and the Center for Capital Markets Competitiveness. Through the National Capital Area Alzheimer’s Association, she advocates for increased research funding and awareness of early on-set Alzheimer’s.
Westmoreland holds a B.A. from Clemson University and an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business. She lives in Washington DC with her husband and their daughter.
