API Statement on the Draft Inflation Reduction Act of 2022

WASHINGTON, July 28, 2022 – The American Petroleum Institute (API) today released the following statement from Executive Vice President and Chief Advocacy Officer Amanda Eversole on the proposed Inflation Reduction Act of 2022:

“While there are some improved provisions in the spending package released last night, we oppose policies that increase taxes and discourage investment in America’s oil and natural gas."
